I'm So Nervous!

I have been assigned the task of creating a specific post on which to collect word verification definitions and sentences for the family reunion. So much responsibility for one so inexperienced. But I'm honored that you have placed your faith and trust in me and I give you my word that I will not disappoint you. My word is habblet.

I made that up because there is no WV on this post.

Ladies and gentlemen, (re)start your engines. This is the place.

You guys sure know how to party.

ackina (ACK-eena) - my response to marc.

hey ma! remember when you were the reunion czar?

Marc said...

(Psst... Annie... I didn't want to embarrass you in front of everyone, but Ackina isn't a word).

From Annie on my blog:

sanceti (san-CHEH-tee), n - the delicacy resulting from two slices of bread smeared with peanut butter, jelly and potato chips.
-i'll trade you my balogna for your sanceti.
-NO WAY!

And my next word was: reagstro

I really think Annie should move to NY and open a reagstro and serve sancetis.

reagstro: n, a new and upcoming hangout where various sandwich type foods are served--similar to a bistro

And Marc: you know you wanna be part of this family--go ahead, join the party!

plutinge: n, the twinge of jealousy one feels when wanting to belong to a family, group, or clan, ie, the acute PLUTINGE in marc's heart at not being born into the blessed family of stimpson threatened to engulf him. ACKEENA! he screamed in despair.

maybe we can give him an honorary t-shirt, since he IS our surrogate big bro.

I am not terribly creative, but this one was far too good to pass up. I'll let you all work with it.

Undictie

"These new whitening strips are turiph."

And for this post:

cancy: (CAN-see) n, a term for cancer that is cute.

"Oh this? It's just a little skin cancy."

Note: you can add "wancy" afterward for more cuteness.

You guys crackame up. That's Spanish for how much you make me laugh.

Marc: Yeah, we party hearty. And we serve peanut butter sandwiches.

Annie: I started out as the reunion nazi, but Grandpa didn't like that very much so I had to leave Germany and go to Russia.

Nicea said...

Jaime Escalante - Ahahahaha. Jabby and Abef. Ahahaha. That's turiph!

b-hal - I'll get back to you on undictie. I'm thinking the syllables might be mixed up. What!?

Sherry C. here is a quick debriefing for you. We are listing our word verifications and giving them definitions. The top five will go on the back of the reunion shirt. For example:

monvol (moan-vahl): a slang term representing both the volume and the frequency of complaining, ie - Dirk Nowitsky best turn down the monvol before the refs T him up. Which translates to: Dirk Nowitsky is a crybaby.

Princess Consuela and Banana Hammock said...

B - I don't dare attempt a definition of undictie either. And I don't buy your uncreative excuse.

amatea: opposit of aren'tatea.

As a math teacher I loved this word! Brian and I do not adalike. He has a completely different way of adding things up then I do. I love the genius of others thinking; how do you add?

Nicea said...

I add with my fingers. For advanced math I use my toes.

Astshli: pr. n., The newest trendy baby name, which is a mixture of aston and ashli

Nicea said...

Because this experience for me is going to have lasting significance, I want to properly record it for my posterity. For this reason I have moved the verification word UNRED from my latest post to this post for consideration in the biggest contest in Stimpson family history.

UNRED - n. A true BYU fan. Just see what unred can do for you.

Princess Consuela and Banana Hammock said...

sustink - sustained stinker. Can be used to describe a long drawn-out fart but more commonly used to describe a person who has gas.

eg. You sustink!

Nicea said...

It's really true. UNNODE is a my WV, and it came (almost) on the heels of UNRED! UNCANNY? I think yes. So I'm moving it over from another post.

Unnode: past tense of un-no,v. - to purposely forget something that one once knew. I unnode that BYU was going to win.

My mistake in interpreting the sign I received in the other post was that I was looking at the sign from the wrong side which, of course, resulted in a backward, and thus erroneous, reading. It should have read DERNU, which, interpreted means: Dang Utes. But I really don't want to talk about it.
